Striving towards perfection or to attain self - actualization in order to become well balanced individuals, who can adapt themselves to the society is the core and essence of education. This is a process in which students acquire a certain level of learning and some reach mastery in concerned subjects.
Life here on earth can be compared to a pilgrimage. The road may appear smooth and pleasant to certain length and then rest hard and rough. The "Sanctum Sanctorum" being the goal, people takes different roads - a majority chooses the trodden path and few daringly choose the strange and untroddened. The latter always feels greater satisfaction and fulfillment than the former. Be it pleasant or unpleasement, familiar or unfamiliar irrespective of age, cast and creed, the endeavor is towards the goal. Certain level of self-esteem may slacken the individual's continuous effort. In such moments the words of Robert Frost
" Woods are lovely dark and deep
But I have promises to keep
And miles to go before I sleep "
should ring a bell in our ears. Let all our endeavours towards perfection bring forth its fruits abundantly.
