Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) System:
To keep in pace with the rapid developments in technology and to exploit its benefits in the field of education, Marygiri has introduced the TEL system. Quite likely, Marygiri is the first and only CBSE School in North Malabar to adopt the system. The system makes use of an Audio-Visual room which houses a TOSHIBA TDP S8 Multimedia DLP Projector, a number of educational CDs and the facilities of an advanced Language Lab consisting of forty computers.
Library:
The school has a well established library with a number of books and journals on various subjects with separate sections for reference and competitive examinations. A separate class room library for the Plus Two section is a unique feature of Marygiri.
Laboratories:
Well equipped and spacious laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science and Mathematics has been arranged to give a cutting edge in the students' quest for scientific excellence.
Language Lab:
An advanced language lab, with a network of computers and professionally qualified instructors, is yet another feather on Marygiri's cap. This system facilitates the language learners to improve the different aspects of English language such as sounds, pronunciation, grammar, accent, intonation etc. Training is provided using the much admired language proficiency development course-ware - The Lingua phone, London. Special training sessions on Spoken English are also conducted for parents and professionals which enables them to make use of the rare opportunity of getting exposed to the hi-tech system of language learning.
Hostel Facilities:
Marygiri is one of the very few CBSE Schools in the region providing separate boarding facilities for Boys & Girls, under the direct supervision of Rev. Brothers & Sisters.
Medical - Engineering Entrance Coaching by T.I.M.E.:
To cater to the growing demand for professional courses, with more than the school offers a round the year Entrance Coaching programme to Plus Two Science students. The programme is also aimed to improve the performance of the students in Board Exams.
To provide the best possible training to our students, we have associated ourselves with T.I.M.E., a forerunner in the field of Medical / Engineering Entrance Coaching, with more than 110 centres across India. The classes are conducted on Saturdays and Public holidays.
HRD Programs and Career Guidance:
To prepare the students to face the challenges of the future, Marygiri organizes regular HRD programmes which include training in soft skills, personality development and career guidance seminars.
Sports & Games:
The school has excellent facilities for recreation & various sports activities which include two Basket Ball courts of national standards, facilities for Football, Volleyball, Table Tennis etc, helping the students to grow into integrated personalities.
Co-Curricular Activities:
Education aims at the overall development of the individual. Adhering to this principle, the school provides training in Dance, Music ( Vocal & Instrumental ), Drawing & Painting, Yoga, Karatte etc. Inter house competitions are organized to encourage the artistic talents of the students.
Fee Structure:
The School Fee can be paid in four installments for classes from I to XII and three installments for Nursery Section.
Fee concessions / Scholarships:
1. Fee concession is given to students on a merit cum means basis. Application for availing the
concessions is to be made in the prescribed format. The decision of the School Management
Committee will be final in this regard.
2. Students with 95% marks and above in AISSE ( 97 % in SSLC ) will be given 100%
concession in tuition fee.
3. Students with 90% marks and above in AISSE ( 95 % in SSLC ) will be given 50% concession
in tuition fee.
4. 100% concession in tuition fee will be given to a Boy and a Girl student on a merit cum means
basis.
5. PTA offers scholarships to all Students who score the prescribed percentages in the annual
examination.
